  • Difference between Free & Premium Online Computer Repair & Diagnosis?

    Our free option uses windows XP remote assistance native tool to aid us in connecting to your PC. Its features and capability is limited. Often used to diagnose problems. Limited to only 30 minutes of Free support time. Cost: $0

    Premium online computer repair option uses a more robust tool which allows us better control over your PC. Diagnosis and resolution is much faster. We will work on your PC until its fixed.

     

  • What do you do to ensure sessions are secure?

    All sessions are highly secured using 256 Bit encryption. If you look at the bottom of your browser there should be a small icon In the shape of a padlock. This is a standard internet icon indicating a secure site. No other party can intercept the communication between you and RemoteMyPc.

     

  • Can an unauthorized person access my PC the same way you can?

    NO, You need to give access or permission to your PC in order for someone to access it remotely.

     

  • Are you able to access my computer after the remote session is over?

    No, the applet downloaded during the remote session is automatically removed after the session has ended. Remember that you have full control over your PC at all times. No one can access your PC without your permission and proper authorization.

     

  • What happens if my issue cannot be resolved remotely?

    We however will make every attempt to resolve an issue remotely. We urge our customers to be patient as some issues may take longer to troubleshoot and resolve. Also prior to starting a remote session, our skilled technicians will make every attempt determine if your problem can be resolved remotely and that you are not having a hardware issue. If we perform any service that is NOT related to the issue reported, you may not be entitled to a full refund. A partial refund will be issued. If you are not satisfied with the service performed please request a refund by sending an email to: refund@RemoteMyPC.com

     

  • How do I cancel my monthly support service plan?

    Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Please send email to cancel@RemoteMyPc.com. All monthly billings are processed the first of each month. Notify us before the following month and your account will be taken out of our monthly billing queue.

     

  • Can you give me some details on the security of the tool you are using?

Security complies with HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley and other corporate, local, and federal legislation  with end-to-end, 256-bit SSL encryption - the same security levels used and trusted by  major banking institutions. No one can intercept or see the information between RemoteMyPC and your PC.

    1. Customers must permit a Technician to use each remote session function (Remote Control, Desktop View, File Transfer, System Information, and Reboot)
    2. Customers can choose to terminate the session at any time
    3. All traces of the Customer Applet disappear from the remote PC when the session is finished.
    4. Audit session activity through Session Recording and detailed logging

 

  • How and where can I buy the remote application you use?

  • I am worried about using my credit card for purchase online.

    We understand your concern about using your credit card over the internet.
